Levetiracetam Oral Solution is used in the management of epilepsy which is a long-standing ailment affecting individuals and characterised by convulsions. It is used for a certain type of epilepsy namely focal epilepsy where the seizures begin in one part of the cerebral hemisphere but may at times affect the opposite hemisphere as well.
Levetiracetam Oral Solution comprises levetiracetam which helps to control and alleviate the abnormal brain activity that leads to seizures. It isolates and tries to block these signals from getting out of the particular zones of the brain to mitigate the number of seizures but not eliminate epilepsy.
