Ofloxacin Oral Suspension is in the fluoroquinolone group of antibiotics used for treating bacterial infections involving the lungs, genital organs, intestines, blood, skin, eyes/ears, bones/joints, abdomen, and the male genitals, specifically the prostate gland. Bacterial infection is a state characterized by the presence of bacteria within the tissues of the affected individual and the invasion of these tissues by said bacteria. It concerns any body segment and can attack several at once.
Ofloxacin Oral Suspension is an antibiotic Ofloxacin useful in curing several bacterial infections in humans. It is bactericidal and functions by eradicating bacteria, which cause infections. It slows the processes occurring inside bacterial cells and destroys the bacteria, to stop the growth and spread of the disease. It is a broad-spectrum Fluoroquinolone antibiotic which is active against most Gram-negative bacteria and a variety of Gram-positive bacteria as well as some Bacteroiates (bacteria that do not require oxygen to grow).
